Effective: October 13, 2026 · Last updated: October 14, 2026A smaller data footprint.
Marbles: Odd or Even does not require a separate game account and does not use developer-operated servers to host your matches. Solo gameplay runs on your device. Multiplayer uses Apple's Game Center services. The website has no advertising or analytics scripts.
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy describes the Marbles: Odd or Even iOS game (the “App”) and this Marbles: Odd or Even website (the “Site”). The App and Site are provided by the developer of Marbles: Odd or Even (referred to here as “we”). Questions may be sent to the contact address below.
2. Information handled in the App
Marbles: Odd or Even does not ask you to create a separate account or provide your name, email address, or phone number to play. The App does not integrate third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Solo game state is handled on your device. For multiplayer, Marbles: Odd or Even temporarily keeps private hidden-marble commitments and related secrets in the device's Keychain so a hidden choice cannot be changed after the other player guesses. Keychain data may persist independently of other app files under Apple's system behavior.
We do not operate a developer-operated gameplay server or directly receive your multiplayer game records.
3. Apple Game Center multiplayer
When you choose to use multiplayer, Apple's Game Center handles authentication, invitations, participants, turn delivery, and storage of turn-based match records. Marbles: Odd or Even shares the game state required for both players to see and continue a match, including their marbles, wagers, guesses, and results, through Game Center.
The App's hidden-marble secret remains local until the game rules call for its reveal. At that point, the reveal information is included in the shared match record so the opponent can verify the turn.
Game Center may process player identifiers, profile information, match records, notifications, and related technical information under Apple's Privacy Policy. You can play solo without signing in to Game Center. Multiplayer features require Apple's service and an eligible account.
4. Advertising, tracking, and analytics
Marbles: Odd or Even does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or developer-integrated analytics SDKs. We do not sell personal information collected through the App. Apple may independently collect device and App Store information as described in Apple's privacy documentation.
5. Website hosting
This is a static site hosted on GitHub Pages. It does not use sign-in, analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or marketing cookies. GitHub and its infrastructure providers may automatically process ordinary technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to serve and secure the Site; their processing is governed by GitHub's Privacy Statement.
We do not receive a visitor profile from this static site or run an independent tracking system here.
6. Contacting support
If you email us, we receive the details you choose to include, such as your email address, message, and optional attachments. We use that information to answer your inquiry and resolve issues. Email providers may process this information as part of delivering and storing messages. Please avoid sending passwords or sensitive account information.
7. Retention and your choices
Solo game data is primarily held on your device. Deleting the App may remove local app data, but Keychain items and Apple Game Center records can follow separate Apple-managed retention rules. Data stored in Game Center is managed through Apple's services; We cannot directly erase Apple's account-level Game Center records.
To manage Game Center, use your iPhone's Apple account and Game Center settings. To ask us about support correspondence you have sent, use the contact information below.
8. Children and family use
Marbles: Odd or Even is a casual game and does not require users to submit personal information to us in order to play. Families can use Apple's Screen Time, Game Center, and parental-control settings to manage multiplayer access and communications.
9. International processing
Apple, GitHub, and the providers used for your email correspondence may process information in countries outside your own. Their respective privacy policies describe their safeguards and practices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the App, Site, or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised version here with an updated date. This policy reflects the current pre-release implementation and should be rechecked before the App Store launch.
